Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Complex at Katra, Jammu; the Foundation was elated for being given a chance to be a part of such a prestigious project of national importance. The scale of the project signifies a progressive shift towards sustainable practices in the area. Moreover, the Foundation constantly endeavors to protect national heritage, art and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance. By replacing traditional lighting with energy efficient LED Technology, this initiative not only enhances the visual appeal of the site but also reduces carbon emissions and energy consumption. The project also has a very calming effect on the devotees and public at large who are visiting the shrine complex. With its lower environmental impact, the LED lighting system exemplifies a commitment to preserving the sanctity of the natural surroundings while providing devotees and visitors with a safer and more eco-conscious experience.
The Foundation was recently approached by the Station House Officer of the police station at Sector 20, Noida, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh for improving the pathetic sanitation conditions prevailing in the police station complex. One visit to the site jolted us to the core when we saw the police personnel (both males and females) using crippling washrooms, kitchen and barracks. Taking inspiration from the Swachh Bharat Mission of the Government of India, the Foundation immediately planned and CONSTRUCTED NEW TOP-QUALITY WASHROOM COMPLEXES FOR MALE AND FEMALE CONSTABULARY; AND EXTENSIVELY REFURNISHED AND REPAINTED THE BARRACKS AND KITCHEN FOR THE FEMALE CONSTABLES. The projects demonstrate Foundation’s comprehensive approach towards improving workplace amenities and support for the police force who work tirelessly for providing safety and security to the society at large.
